A starch extracted from cassava root. Tapioca flour or starch (also called cassava flour) is used as a thickening agent, similar to corn starch. Pearl tapioca (made into small balls) is mainly used to make pudding.
A popular eating orange with skin that's thick and less easy to peel (vs. loose skin oranges such as tangerines). It's pulp is seedless and sweet. It's characterized by the slight protrusion at the blossom end which resembles the human navel.
Also called kiwano, this is a New Zealand fruit that's oval in shape with an orangey yellow skin with studded with "horns". Its flesh is pale yellow-green in color and jelly-like in texture, with a sweet-tart flavor.
A small, extremly hot chili pepper that is closely related to the habanero. Its color ranges from yellow to orange to red.
